Adrenaline Installation Guide

This guide will allow you to do a fresh installation of Adrenaline on your vita running HENkaku-R7 or higher.

First and foremost, before attempting to install Adrenaline, your vita must be activated.

If it still isn't, then you need to do this:
1. Make sure that your PSN spoofing is enabled, and that there is a PSN account logged in on your vita.
2. Go to Settings > PlayStation Network > System Activation > Game > Activate
3. Done.

NOTICE: As of 07/29/2017, system activation for firmware version 3.60 is impossible due to Sony's actions. For more information about this incident, click HERE.

Now, assuming that your vita's already activated, let's install Adrenaline!

Note: You might notice some slight differences on some of the files' file names. That's because I have been constantly updating the apps in the installer kit to provide you with the latest versions as soon as it's released. Still, the installation process is still the same so you don't have to worry. Just a heads-up.

1. Download this first.

2. Extract the contents of the RAR file to an empty folder.

3. Copy the whole folder to your vita using VitaShell's USB mode.

4. On VitaShell, under ux0:/, create a new folder named 'adrenaline'.

5. Among the files that you copied from your PC, there is a file named 661.PBP. Move that to your newly-created adrenaline folder.

6. Install the ePSP_Bubble_Installer_3.1 and AdrenalineEasyInstaller_v110.

7. Go back to your home screen. Open ePSP Bubble Installer, then follow the instructions on the screen to install an ePSP bubble.

8. Your vita will reboot, then install the ePSP bubble named BIGHEADSNOOKER.

9. Your vita restarted, right? If you're already on Enso, proceed to the next step. If you're still using Offline Installer, reinstall HENkaku first before proceeding further.

10. On your home screen, open the Adrenaline EasyInstaller. Once you're in the app, select option number 1.

11. Next, select the first option, "Install the latest Adrenaline eCFW release".

12. Select the one that you see on this picture, then choose 'Yes'.

13. Installation will commence. Once prompted, press O when asked to reboot.

14.
Your vita restarted, right? If you're already on Enso, proceed to the next step. If you're still using Offline Installer, reinstall HENkaku first before proceeding further.

15. Open the Adrenaline app.

16. Follow the on-screen instructions.

17. The app will start to extract the files from the 661.PBP. Once that's done, follow the instructions on the screen.

18.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed Adrenaline! Keep on reading this guide for some FAQs.

FAQs

Q: How do I know that I have the latest version of Adrenaline installed?
A: If you used this guide to install Adrenaline, then go to System Update in Settings. It will tell you whether you have the latest version or not.

However, if you did not use this guide, check your version first by going to the System Information. If the version is Adrenaline-2 or higher, you can use the Adrenaline EasyInstaller to update. You can download it HERE. If it's Adrenaline-2 or below, then you have to update it manually. Just click HERE for the guide.

Q: Where can I download ISO/CSO/PSX EBOOTs?
A: The best website for that is EmuParadise. Click HERE to be redirected.

Q: Where do I put the games that I downloaded?
A: Here are the directories:
     PSP ISOs          > ux0:pspemu/ISO
     PSX EBOOTs   > ux0:pspemu/PSP/GAME

Q: From Adrenaline, how do I go back to the home screen?
A: Double-press the PS button.

Q: Is the recovery mode available in Adrenaline?
A: Yes. After tapping/opening the Adrenaline app, immediately hold the R button.

Q: Is it possible to overclock?
A: Haven't tried this, but there is a VSH menu available. While on the XMB, press SELECT to access that.

Pinned Post

THIS IS NOT A BUY & SELL GROUP!!! JUST TRY TO POST ABOUT IT. SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

Hi! First of all, you guys might be wondering why we created a blog post for our group's pinned post.. That's because Facebook(or someone) tried to remove our group's pinned post, and they succeeded. For the 2nd time! That made us, the admins and moderators, decide to create this to avoid another event of erasure.

Despite of all that's happened, on behalf of us, the admins and moderators, welcome to our group! We hope that we can answer all of your questions and inquiries about HENkaku, and since we are all part of our growing community, we expect that you will also help our other members' issues regarding, well, HENkaku. As soon as it's available, I will post all the necessary details that you will need for your hacking needs. Enjoy staying!

So, what are you waiting for? Click HERE to get redirected to our beginner's guide on HENkaku!

Again, like what we're always saying, everything that you need to get started on having HENkaku running on your Vita will be posted here. I know that we're still lacking on some tutorials, but I will post the external links here once our admins/moderators have finished re-creating it.

For starters, I will write down the basic tools that you will be needing for a full HENkaku experience on your Vita. And for that, you'll most probably need the files that I will be posting here. We do not want to accustom our members to spoonfeeding. It's not a good habit, and you know it very well. So if you're that eager to know all about the basics of HENkaku, then you'll find this post useful.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own these files/links. All the credit goes to the respective owners/developers of these homebrews and websites.

HENkaku

The homebrew enabler program that enables us to run homebrews(duh), which will allow you to do this: play PIRATED games until you lose interest on your Vita. LOL

Want to know more about HENkaku, and/or how to do the hacking yourself? Click HERE!

HENkaku Ensō

An upgraded version of HENkaku wherein you don't have to reinstall HENkaku whenever you turn off your vita. Before you install this, make sure that HENkaku is currently installed. For instructions on how to do that, click HERE.

Offline Installer

Try to restart your newly-hacked Vita. Then open molecularShell. Got an error message? That's because you will ALWAYS lose HENkaku whenever you restart your Vita. For that, you will need this tool. Click HERE if you want to know how it works, or if you want, you can just click HERE to download it. Then regret it later for not clicking the former link because you don't know how to use it. Your choice.

EDIT: Because of HENkaku Enso's release, installing this homebrew has become pointless since you don't need to reinstall HENkaku anymore. But hey, this homebrew made history! Cheers to Team Molecule!

VitaShell

This will be the tool that you will be using almost all the time, obviously because it works as a file explorer for the Vita. Self-explanatory.

This is also the tool that you will use to install your homebrews and games that are in VPK file format. You can download the latest release HERE.

MaiDumpTool

A homebrew made by an anonymous(or unnamed/unknown/un-baaah) Chinese hacker that will enable you to install games that were dumped using this application. Click HERE to open the page where you should download the latest release for this.

Vita Save Manager

Struggling on how to backup your save data because you need to delete the game to free some space on your memory card? This will help you with that. You can click HERE to get redirected to the page where you'll download the most latest STABLE release. Not the NIGHTLIES. Or you'll be bumping with some bugs.

All right! Well, that sums up the basic tools for your very first HENkaku experience. Now that you have your Vita HENkaku-enabled, the next thing that you ask yourself is this: where can I download the games?

I have here a list of a few websites where you can download your games. It would be nice to register on the some of the websites first, as the links will only appear once you're logged in.
